BRANDY AND GINGER ALE FRAPPE.
Fill mixing-glass two-thirds full of fine ice,
one jigger brandy, one piece twisted lemon peel.
Shake well; strain in thin lemonade-glass; fill
with ice cold imported ginger ale; serve.
TOM GIN COCKTAIL.
Fill mixing-glass two-thirds full of shaved ice,'
one or two dashes Caroni or Angostura hitters, bar-
spoonful syrup, one jigger Tom gin. Stir and
strain in cooled cocktail-glass, twist a piece of
lemon peel over top to flavor; serve frnit if desired.
JAPANESE COCKTAIL.
Fill mixing-glass two-thirds full of shaved ice,
bar-spoonful Orgeat syrup, one or two dashes
Caroni or Angostura bitters, one piece twisted
lemon peel, one jigger brandy. Stir well; strain
in cocktail-glass.
WHISKY AND SUGAR.
Dissolve in bar-glass one lump cut-loaf or one
small spoonful powdered sugar; put spoon in glass.
Serve same as plain whisky.
