The high-speed bow type machine is
suitable for a wide range of products
with the back twist process giving high
quality results.
Cortinovis
bow
stranders
use
components made from the most
modern materials, such as carbon fibre
for the bows, tungsten carbide for
bushes and hardened steel for rollers.
Set up is by control panel, and an
electro-mechanical or pneumatic self-
compensated brake controls tension of
the cores.
Safe use is maintained by control of
bearing temperatures and vibration and
the machine is protected with a
pneumatically controlled soundproof
cover, inside fans and lights.
High productivity bow type laying-up
machines can be used for round and
straight sectoral insulated cores for low
voltage cable.
The machine can be
loaded from the top by
overhead crane or with
a semi-automatic side
trolley, which avoids the
use of bridge cranes and
dramatically reduces the
total loading time of the
line.
