Continuous Improvement
An ongoing effort to improve products, services, or processes. These efforts can seek
"incremental" improvement over time or "breakthrough" improvement all at once.
Countermeasure
A counter-measure is an action or set of actions that seeks to prevent the problem arising
again, while a solution just seeks to deal with the situation. Counter-measures are more
robust, and focus on preventing the problem from recurring.
