THE GROUP’S KEY CHALLENGES

In 2015, Saint-Gobain conducted a three-stage materiality

analysis:

identification of the key challenges based on a review of

the available documentation on the Group, its activities

and its environment;

sharing these challenges with key stakeholders;

‹

ranking the challenges by comparing stakeholder

‹

expectations against the vision of Group management.

The resulting materiality matrix was developed on the basis

of looking for consensus between external and internal

stakeholders. A methodology note is available on the

To provide greater transparency around the challenges, in

2016 they were grouped and summarized according to four

long-term priority areas for CSR:

climate change;
