(2)

The Special Meeting by which such a decision is made or any

subsequent Meeting may appoint two or more persons to carry out

such winding-up and all or any matters consequent thereon, and may

vote to these persons such remuneration or honoraria as it may

determine;

(3)

If upon the winding up of the Union there remain after satisfaction of all

its liabilities any assets, such assets shall be distributed equally

amongst all members registered with the Union on the date that the

decision to wind-up in accordance with paragraph (1) of this Rule was

taken.

10.2

A notice may be served by the GGCA National Secretary upon any member

either personally or by being sent pre-paid through the post addressed to such

person at his/her address as registered with the Union. Any notice served by

post shall be deemed to have been served on the fifth day succeeding that on

which it was posted, and in proving such service, it shall be sufficient to prove

that the notice was properly addressed and posted.

10.3

The Rules of the Union which were in operation immediately prior to the date

at which these Rules come into operation are hereby revoked.

10.4

(1)

Nothing in these Rules shall affect any order, bye law, regulation,

undertaking, notice, approval, certificate, direction or determination

given or mode, or any election or appointment made, or any other thing

done under or for the purpose of the Rules revoked by these Rules but

any such order, bye-law, regulation, undertaking, notice, approval,

certificate, direction, determination, election, appointment or thing shall,

if in force at the date on which these Rules come into operation,

continue in force and shall so far as it could have been made, effected,

given or done under these Rules have effect as if made, effected, given

or done under the corresponding provision oh these Rules.

(2)

Any document referring to any rule revoked by these Rules shall be

construed as referring to the corresponding provisions of these Rules

PART 11 - INTERPRETATION

11.1

If any question as to the meaning or intention of these Rules or of any of them

or of any bye laws or regulation made thereunder arise, that question shall be

decided by the GGCA Executive Committee and shall be final.

11.2

Except where the context indicates to the contrary, all words denoting one

gender shall be deemed to include the other gender and all words denoting

the singular shall be deemed to include the plural and vice versa.
