Vertical linear measuring device
The added value of the motorized TESA-HITE versions plus
M 400/700 is not only due to their technical features, but also to
their convenience during use.
The association with the programmable function is an ideal solution
for recurring measurements in production areas. With advanced
features, complex calculations can be done, for example, when
measuring in 1 and 2 coordinate directions or detecting squareness.

Design:
Large range of applications, two device sizes with 405 and
705 mm or 16 inch and 27 inch measuring span. Electronics protected
against solid and liquid contamination such as dust, metal particles,
splashing water or oil
(device IP 40, electronics IP 65).
Control panel with numerical increments 0.0001/0.001/0.01 mm
or 0.00001/0.0001/0.001 inch. Accuracy with standard accessories
(2.5 + 3*L) µm (L in m). With connectable air bearing of the device
on the test plate. Patented optoelectronic TESA measuring system.
Incrementally divided glass scale, opto-electronic measurement value
acceptance. Large digit display and symbols for measurement function,
main display 12.7 x 6.4 mm, secondary display 6.3 x 4.2 or 3.8 x 2.9
mm. Device base made of grey cast iron, chemically nickel-plated with
3 lapped support fields on the lower surface. Roller bearing-guided
measuring head, electric motor-powered movements with selectable
speeds from 7.5 to 40 mm/s. RS 232 interface.
Function:
Slight offset of the measuring device on the test plate due to
integrated air bearing. Dynamic workpiece detection with consistently
even measuring force. Measurement of lengths in the form of heights
and distances and the recording of diameters and angles in addition to
parallelism, perpendicularity and straightness deviations, 2D measure-
ment, programming, automatic measuring procedures and statistical
measurement value processing.
Supplied:
Height gauge with a standard measuring insert carrier, a
standard measuring insert with test rod and carbide measuring ball
∅ 5 mm, one reference piece for determination of the measuring probe
constant (nominal value 6.350 mm/0.2500 inch). One electric pump for
air bearing of the device base on the test plate, mounted, one recharge-
able battery pack 6 V, one mains adapter 100 ÷ 240 Vac/50 ÷ 60 Hz,
one EU mains cable and one US mains cable for the mains adapter, in
transport packaging.
