Vertical linear measuring device/accessories
Design:
Large range of applications, two device sizes with 365 mm
and 615 mm or 14 inch and 24 inch measuring span. Motorised
measuring head for reliable and fast detection of the measuring points
with consistently even measuring force. With connectable air bearing of
the device on the test plate. Incrementally divided glass scale with refe-
rence point, grating period 20 µm, optoelectronic scanning. Accuracy
with standard accessories (1.9 + 1.5*L) µm (L in m). Solid device base,
chemically nickel-plated with 3 lapped support fields. Roller bearing-
guided measuring head, electric motor-powered movements with
selectable speeds from 7.5 to 40 mm/s. RS 232 interface.
Function:
Slight offset of the measuring device on the test plate
due to integrated air bearing. Dynamic workpiece detection with con-
sistently even measuring force. For length measurements in the form of
outside, inside, height, depth and distance measurements on geometric
elements with flat, plane parallel and circular cylindrical surfaces in one
or two coordinate directions. Hole positions can be determined in two
coordinate directions and issued in the Cartesian or polar coordinate
systems.
Supplied:
Height gauge with a standard measuring insert carrier, a
standard measuring insert with test rod and carbide measuring ball
∅ 5 mm, one reference piece for determination of the measuring probe
constant (nominal value 6.350 mm/0.2500 inch). One electric pump
for air bearing of the device base on the test plate, mounted, one battery
cassette, one mains adapter 100 ÷ 240 Vac/50 ÷ 60 Hz, one EU
mains cable and one US mains cable for the mains adapter and a dust
protection cover, in transport packaging.

display, main display 12.7 x 6.4 mm, secondary display 6.3 x 4.2 or 3.8 x 2.9 mm,
keyboard with 42 keys. Control panel with numerical increments 0.0001/0.001/0.01 mm
or 0.00001/0.0001/0.001 inch. RS 232 interface.
Function:
Recording of evenness and parallelism deviations, measurement of perpendicularity
and straightness, angle measurements, input of number values through the keyboard or the digital
measuring device. Programmable for automatic measuring sequences in the teach-in procedure.
Data memory for 9999 characteristics distributed onto different data records (max. 999 per data
record). Memory capacity for 25000 measurement values. Statistical measurement value proces-
sing (PLC) with output of e.g. mean value, spread width, standard deviations, histogram, target/
actual comparison, number of values outside the limit dimensions, intervention limits and control
cards. Print-out of measuring protocols in A4 format with tables and graphics, editing of individual
protocol heads. mm/inch-conversion. Preset function for entry of the required values.
