The 2nd Iran international tube and profile
exhibition and conference took place from
25-27 July 2007 in Tehran. Building on the
inaugural 2006 event, last year’s event
welcomed an increase in both exhibitors
and visitors.
International companies from UK, Italy,
Germany, Russia and China were in
attendance, including Data M Software
(India), Elestar, EZTM, Gallium Industries
Ltd, M & M Seamless Pipe Co, Sacma,
Smaco, Thermatool, and Thyssen Krupp
Mannex.
The exhibition was organized by the
Syndicate of Steel, Pipe & Profile
Manufacturers, the Syndicate of Iranian
Aluminium Industries, Iran’s Industries
Confederation, Tehran’s Mine and Industry
House, and the Mine & Mining Industries
Database.
The exhibition is designed to provide
technical information, improvement
of production and business, market
development, and details of new technology
and upgrades (ie software and hardware).
Delegates at the conference discussed
ten technical articles, which dealt with
topics including welded roll formed
tube properties (for subsequent FEM
processes), simulation of large diameter
pipes manufactured by C-U-O method
(using MSC. Marc software), tube
hydroforming, and the advantages for Iran
of 56" tubes.
The organisers of the event have
announced that the 3rd international tube
and profile exhibition will take place in July
2008 in Tehran.
