Formtek, USA, has taken delivery of a
new five-axis, dual chuck, multi-tasking
machining centre for its Cleveland location.
The new equipment, along with the
company’s existing CNC machinery and
other new machines currently on order, will
enable the company to produce roll tooling
using a new method.
This new method will speed production by
eliminating many of the time consuming
steps currently involved in tooling
production, and will also increase the quality
of the tooling produced.
Formtek provides tooling and equipment
to the rollforming industry, and its brand
names include Yoder, B&K, Dahlstrom,
Tishken, and Lockformer.
