Aluminium precision drawn
tube from India
Siddhi Engineers, India, manufactures and
exports aluminium precision drawn tube,
rod and profile. The company’s precision
aluminium tube is manufactured using a
wide variety of aluminium alloy.
The aluminium alloy ranges from soft alloys
such as 1050, 1070, 1100, 3003 and 3103,
to harder alloys including 2219, 5052, 5083,
6061, 6063, 6082, 6351, and specific alloys
as required by the customer.
Tubes range from 1mm to 110mm OD,
from 0.15mm to 10mm thickness, with a
normal tolerance on OD/ID and thickness
of ±0.09mm (±0.03mm tolerance can be
achieved).
The maximum rod outside diameter is
30mm, with ±0.05mm normal tolerance
(±0.01mm tolerance can be achieved).
The company also produces profiles with a
circumscribing diameter of 50mm.
Tube in coil form can be manufactured with
16mm maximum outside diameter, 2mm
maximum thickness, and maximum coil
weight of 30mm.
The company can provide tolerance of H10
for sizes up to 40mm ID, and tolerance of
H11 for ID greater than 40mm.

www.siddhiindia.comPowerful control panel for
measuring capabilities
Aicon 3D Systems, Germany, has launched
a new version of its Aicon 3D Studio, a
powerful control panel for various measuring
tasks, which displays and processes
collected data. 3D Studio is supplied with
all Aicon measuring systems, and can also
be integrated into any customer specific
measuring solution.
Version 7 offers a wide range of functions
for additional application areas, and
includes the new Dynamic module for use
in the area of dynamic 3D measurement.
This feature offers an extended visualisation
of dynamic measuring results and a
comfortable processing of several thousand
data records/epochs. The 2D and 3D views
and coordinate tables are synchronised
over time.
The new Create AVI Sequence function
integrated in Aicon 3D Studio generates
video sequences of test processes, eg of a
deformation analysis with several measuring
epochs or of different views of 3D point
clouds. This is a useful tool in addition to
existing recording possibilities of static and
dynamic measuring results, because test
processes can now be presented more
clearly.
The software incorporates several other new
features in the available software modules,
to supplement Aicon’s range of products for
optical 3D metrology of static and highly
dynamic movements and deformations.
The new Version 7 software is available
with immediate effect.
