of course. Technology has radically
changed how fans search for, buy, pres-
ent, and even save tickets. Longtime fans
fondly pull out cardboard ticket stubs from
memorable games. The pieces of paper call
back memories of great events, and can even
be worth big money as memorabilia. A full
ticket from a 1927 World Series game sold in
2014 for more than $41,000.
In the future, however, fans looking back
on games in this era will not have, for the
most part, ticket or ticket stubs. E-tickets
are now standard for nearly all pro teams.
