Put into a dish 4 lumps ofSjgar,
2 dashesLemon Juice,4dashesAngostura
Bitters, ^4. teaspoonful Cinnamon,
2 Cloves, bruised, 4 Allspice, bruised,
2 wineglassful Claret.
Allow the compound to boil and
simmer for 2 minutes, stirring contin
uously;strain and serve in tumbler.
