Benefits Consulting Services RFP

CBIZ is confident that we can effectively and efficiently manage these issues and ultimately lead Unity to its desired

results. In order to enhance the value, effectiveness, and/or reduce the cost of the overall project, we propose the

following plan of action:

Document a strategic plan with acknowledgement of culture, budget,

organizational health, risks and opportunities to provide a roadmap for

success;

Provide plan benchmarking against similar institutions to help Unity

provide a best in class benefits program;

Utilize CBIZ actuarial resources for plan modeling and forecasting;

Provide monthly, quarterly and annual review of financials and claims

experience;

Review alternate funding mechanisms including fully insured and self-

funded options;

Assistance, interpretation and recommendations for compliance,

regulatory and reporting requirements pertaining to COBRA, HIPAA, DOL,

Health Care Reform;

Focus on Customized Employee Communication and Education; and

Ongoing analysis of utilization of plan with recommendations.
