Mini-Circuits’

Reflectionless High Pass

Filter Die, 13.5 to 40 GHz

Mini-Circuits is pleased to offer

our revolutionary reflectionless

filters in bare die form from stock,

allowing customers to integrate

the filters directly into their hybrids

with minimal space requirements.

Mini-Circuits’ XHF-1352-D+ is a

reflectionless high pass filter with a

passband from 13.5 to 40GHz and

stopband from DC to 10500MHz.

The filter provides 1.8 dB passband

insertion loss, 1.3:1 passband

VSWR, 10.7-22.5dB stopband

rejection, and 1.3:1 stopband

VSWR. It can handle RF input

power up to 1W in the passband and

0.15W in the stopband. Fabricated

using IPD process technology on

GaAs, the filter comes housed in a

tiny 3x3mm QFN package.

Mini-Circuits’

X-series

of

reflectionless filters employs a

novel filter topology which absorbs

and terminates stopband signals

internally rather than reflecting

them back to the source. This

new capability enables unique

applications for filter circuits

beyond those suited to traditional

approaches.

Reflectionless

filters eliminate stopband signal

reflections, allowing them to be

paired with sensitive devices such

as mixers and multipliers without

the need for extra components like

attenuators, significantly improving

system performance and saving

board space.

Reflectionless filter dice are

available from stock in gel-paks

of 5, 10, 50 and 100 KGD, and in

partial and full production wafers

by request from authorized Mini-

Circuits sales representatives.

Mini-Circuits’ Tiny LTCC

2-Way 90° Hybrids, 2500 to

3400 MHz

Mini-Circuits’ QCN-34D+ 2-way

90° hybrid covers the 2500 to

3400 MHz band, supporting

applications including MMDS,

defense communications and

more. This model provides 0.4dB

insertion loss, 30 dB isolation, RF

input power handling up to 15W,

1° phase unbalance, and 0.4dB

amplitude unbalance. Housed in a

tiny 1206 ceramic package featuring

LTCC

multilayer

construction

and wraparound terminations, it

provides

excellentsolderability,

thermal stability from -55 to +100°C,

and high reliability for tough

environmental conditions such as

temperature change and humidity.

This tiny hybrid is an ideal building

block for signal processing designs

requiring 90˚ phase offset and to

insulate circuits from reflective

elements.
