CANAPE BUTTER

ANCHOVY BUTTER

Blend 2 parts anchovy paste and 1 part sweet

butter.

OLIVE BUTTER

Mince some green olives very fine-mash

through a coarse sieve and mix with mayon–

naise.

ROSE BUTTER

Put a handful of rose petals in a paper bag.

Make a ball of

y.l:

pound of butter. Put this in

the bag with the rose petals. Tie the bag, and

place in the ice box for 24 hours. Any desired

flavor of butter may be made in this way, by

using flower petals.
