GAZETfE

I would encourage as many of you as

possible to consider going forward for

'election.

The

solicitors

profession is a

self regulating profession. Many of the

important decisions which affect

solicitors are made within the Society.

It

is most important that the numbers now

in the Corporate and Public Services

sectors are reflected in the membership

of Council.

Many solicitors who are not in a

position to make the commitment which

being a Council member requires, serve

on committees of the Society. The work

of many of these committees is very

worthwhile. If you would be interested

in serving on one of the committees you

should write to Frank Daly, the

incoming President of the Law Society,

expressing your willingness to do so.
