ABOARD THE

AQUA

OR

ARIA

The Amazon River is one of the earth’s grandest wildernesses.

Journey along the two largest tributaries and through remote

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve into a world of neon-bright

birds, playful monkeys, graceful hawks and herons, and

millions of butterflies. As you explore, try your hand at fishing

for piranha, visit riverside communities, and enjoy night

a blackwater river looking for birds, monkeys, and sloths. See the

sustainable resource project. As sun sets, the ship’s searchlights come

on and you’ll look for caimans, tree boas, tarantulas, and frogs.

DAYS 4-8 UCAYALI

Meet native Cocama Indians, explore the

Ucayali, the Amazon’s largest tributary, visit dolphin-feeding spots

along the Pacaya, and learn about medicinal plants. Disembark in

Iquitos on Day 8.

a refreshing swim, and rich tropical flora and fauna.

snorkel on one of the largest coral reefs in Central America.

DAYS 6-10 DARIÉN / PANAMA CANAL
