Equal parts of Ale and Porter. Serve
in a mug.
(English Style.) For
American Style see "Half and Half."
In a mixing glass dissolve a tablespoon-
ful powdered sugar in a small amount
of water, half fill with shaved ice, add
y2 jigger of arrack, i jigger of rum,
and 3 dashes of lemon juice. Shake
and strain. Serve in punch glass. (See
Bottled Arrack Punch Essence.)
To equal parts of Port Wine and
Brandy add half a teaspoonful of strong
Jamaica Ginger. Stir slowly. Sprinkle
with nutmeg. Serve.
