Follow recipe for Hot Rum, using
the amount of sugar and using Sherry
in place of rum.
Follow recipe for Buttered Rum, and
stir in a sprinkle each of ground cin
namon, ground cloves, ground allspice,
and ground ginger, before adding the
butter.
The name Hot Toddy ordinarily means
a Hot Whiskey Toddy (which see), al
though it is of equal application to a
Hot Brandy, Gin, or Rum Toddy
(which also see).

brandy.
