Neptco has celebrated the grand
opening of its newest manufacturing
facility in China’s Jiangsu province.
Neptco (Suzhou) Materials Company
Ltd, a wholly-owned foreign enterprise,
is located in the export processing
zone of Suzhou New District a few
miles northwest of Shanghai, and will
serve customers throughout Asia and
the Pacific Rim.
The 100,000ft2 facility will support
Neptco’s growing Asia/Pacific cus-
tomer base by supplying shielding
tape laminates for wire and cable
manufacturers, and electronic pack-
aging tapes to various semi-conductor
fabricators operating in the region.
The Suzhou facility will enable Neptco
to provide a local manufacturing
presence, and respond more quickly
to customer needs.

relocate to Asia, Neptco must have a
local presence in order to maintain its
competitive advantage,” said Guy
Marini, Neptco’s president and CEO.

Neptco Suzhou
will follow the
same manufac-
turing processes
and quality guide-
lines long established at the company’s
US and European facilities.
The subsidiary will employ primarily
Chinese nationals, initially operating
under the leadership of veteran
Neptco personnel. In addition to the
manufacturing floor, the Suzhou plant
will contain a ‘clean workshop’,
administrative offices, and a quality
assurance laboratory.
