Its character is at once
That of a lightning bolt
That reaches all of space
Simultaneously
Like a white epiphany,
And that of a fraternal array
Of happy vigors
That reaches everyone
Equally -
Sri Ganesh, you appear
As a great Seer...

Mysterious Ganesha,
Your Form is the vehicle
Of the Finest Power of Being,
That very Power
That precedes Time itself
And pours itself
Measuredly
Into Time -
And thus it is that
With perfect abandon
And perfect poise
Each and every moment
And each and every mood
Is a plenitude of expression,
Which can never be repeated,
But sows
Pearls of honey –
Today Sri Ganesh,
Subtly commingling both principles,
Seated in the forest,
A tranquil teacher,
Wondrous and radiant
Like a miraculous fruit
Of living knowledge,
You appear,
Wholly composed,
And one is given
