You stand as the Link
And the Surety
In the Great Fraternity
Of Forces and Beings,
Brother to Agni and Surya and Vayu,
Brother to each and
Every soul,
A companion who cannot be
Circumscribed –
You are like a rainbow bridge
Across the universe
Which rises and vanishes
In
A tiny pearl of dew –
Huge or intimate
You straddle all borders
With your friendly dance,
And your steps leave
Honeyed gifts
