AWARDS
2017
Financial B2B Title of the Year
Winner
Money Marketing
Five media outlets aimed at professional
audiences working in financial services went into
battle for this much sought-after award. However,
by the end of the preliminary scoring round, just
two strong front-runners had emerged in the
opinions of the judges. Eventually, it was
Money
Marketing
under the editorship of Natalie Holt
which received the thumbs up securing back-to-
back victories in the process.
“Money Marketing is just a very, very solid
all-rounder in this sphere with some good
campaigns such as the call for a crackdown on
so-called ‘phoenix’ advisers who go bust and then
re-surface,” one judge commented. “Basically
Money Marketing is the benchmark by which
financial services trade titles need to be judged.
The combination of news, committed journalists,
and thought-provoking comment adds up to a
winning mix which its rivals never quite manage
to trump,” a second judge added. “You can look
at the issues facing all financial services B2B
publishers such as whether to reduce frequency,
go online only, and so on. But the fact is that
good journalism from writers who understand the
market, coupled with relevant industry comment
always makes for a potent combination. As such,
an audience will always have time for a title such
as Money Marketing,” a third judge pointed out.
