sposed to sit wagging my
tail by the hoop they were
holding up for me till they
said,
Jump
. Well, news is,
I’m not there where they
left me, sitting patiently,
smiling, waiting for the
next
command.
I‘ve
moved on. In my head
first, because as I see it,
you have the idea then
you act on it. I mean, you
sift through all the ideas
that occur, gradually,
efficiently. Then you
jump. Otherwise it‘s the
nonstop hoop game in
which all the jumping you
do is for the satisfaction
of others and for keeping
the world the way they
want it. Not only that
but there’s always this
competition going on.
With
them
winning
and you losing. So do
things their way and be a
permanent loser or make
your escape. And be a
survivor. What I’m saying
is, a point comes when
you’ve had more than
enough.
A telling thought: It turned
out that Aggie had no
plans to leave the house.
She wanted to ship Steven
in and claimed it wouldn’t
affect anyone else except
in a positive way. Like,
it would help with the
bills
and
everything,
and Steven was good
at mending things and
putting up shelves and
such like, and she and he
would share her room,
which was the largest in
the house anyway, too
big for just one on their
own, really, she said. And
so, after a bit of initial
resistance fromNoisy they
--
we –
agreed. I could have
told them right then how
it would be. Couples and
singles in the same house
