sugar, one teaspoonful Angostura
bitters; add wine-glass water. See that the
sugar is well dissolved.

HREE-QUARTERS tablespoon
VI/ sugar; one wine-glass whiskey or
brandy; half teaspoon Angostura bitters;
one-half glass shaved ice; one fresh egg.
Fill glass with fresh milk. Shake well, strain
into a large glass, and grate over it a little
nutmeg.
