Management change at Cincinnati Extrusion
In the interest of continuity and further growth, Walter Haeder, managing director and CEO of
Cincinnati Extrusion, has implemented a long-planned management change.
Erich Hauk, managing director of sales, and Hans Berlisg, managing director of marketing and
services, both went into retirement at the end of 2008. With effect from 1 September 2008, their
responsibilities on the management board have been taken over by Marc Glabisch and Peter
Hammer, with Mr Haeder remaining as managing director and CEO.
Mr Hauk began his career at Cincinnati in 1965 and held various positions within the company in
the following years. He had been responsible for sales worldwide since 1995. Mr Berlisg joined the
company in 1968 and also held a number of leading positions. In addition to his marketing talents
he founded Extruserve, a brand of Cincinnati Extrusion specialising in the design of screws and
barrels and the complete overhaul of used machines.
“
I wish to thank Mr Hauk and Mr Berlisg for more than 40 years of loyal service to our company,
”
said Mr Haeder. “
I have
always appreciated and still
appreciate their very sincere
and dependable cooperation
during our years together
and the experience they
have contributed.
”
Marc Glabisch studied
plastics engineering at
Paderborn University, and
has been working in the
extrusion industry since
1996, moving to Cincinnati
Extrusion in 2006. Peter
Hammer joined Cincinnati in 1989 and has been in charge of after sales services, IT and automation.
