RathGibson, a manufacturer of
welded, welded and drawn, and
seamless stainless steel, nickel, and
titanium tubing, has opened three new
international offices.
To provide local support for its channel
partners and customers, the company
has opened offices in Mumbai (India),
Singapore, and Vienna (Austria). The
Mumbai office provides RathGibson
with a significant presence in the
financial capital of India. The Singapore
office helps facilitate sales to Southeast
Asia, while the Austria office supplies
additional support to Europe.
In addition to the new offices, six new
team members have joined RathGibson.
Joining the Greater China Team are
Louisa Zhang, Irene Wang and Sunny
Sun. Ms Zhang, the national sales
manager for key accounts is the
liaison for all fabricators in the Chinese
market place. Serving as technical
support manager, Ms Wang not only
manages local customer support, but
also spearheads the Regional Technical
Training Programs for customers and
channel partners. Mr Sunny Sun serves
as national sales manager for the
chemical market.
Ms Zhang, Ms Wang and Mr Sun are
based in the Shanghai office and report
to Peter Wang, director – business
development, Greater China.
As manager – business development,
India, Michael Edinburgh serves in the
Mumbai, India office and reports to
Alfredo D’Souza, director – business
development, Middle East and India.
Mr Edinburgh focuses his energy on
meeting the needs of RathGibson
customers in India.
As ASEAN regional business manager
based in Singapore, Gilbet Boon is
responsible for day-to-day operations,
as well as providing the leadership to
develop and strengthen RathGibson’s
ventures in Southeast Asia. Mr Boon
reports directly to Wayne Hungerford,
director – business development, North
and South East Asia and Oceania.
Steve Soroko serves as RathGibson’s
first director – business development
for Europe. Mr Soroko manages the
European business from Vienna, Austria
and reportsdirectly toAndrewYeghnazar,
vice president – international business
development. As the director, Mr Soroko
monitors current markets and designs
and implements RathGibson’s strategic
business enterprises in Western and
Eastern Europe.
Along with the expansion of personnel
and offices, RathGibson has been
awarded ‘Perfect Performance’ from
the Mamon/Keystone Corporation’s
Supplier Quality System (SQS).
Thismarks the third time that RathGibson
has achieved this honour. RathGibson
executives Michael Schwartz, president,
and JimBaumann, director of distribution
sales, received the award at the 2008
annual Supplier Recognition Day.

CityPipe international exhibition, titled ‘Piping systems
for Municipal Infrastructure: Construction, diagnostics, repair
and operation’, will be held 26-29 May 2009 in Pavilion #3,
Hall 13 of the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center,
Moscow, Russia. The estimated exhibition space is 8,000m

CityPipe was originally part of the ECWATECH exhibition
(water and wastewater technology show), but is now a
separate exhibition. Topics of the event cover a wide range of
issues related to construction, diagnosis, repair and operation
of piping systems in municipal infrastructure: heat, water and
energy supply, water disposal and communications.
The exhibition will feature pipes and manholes for water
supply, water disposal (sewage, drainage, etc), heat supply,
gas supply and communications. Other areas covered include
equipment for pipe manufacturing, valves and fittings, pipeline
laying and repair, machines and materials for construction
and repair of piping systems, and trenchless technologies
(equipment, materials and services).
The show will also feature operation of piping systems,
machines, equipment and materials for piping system
operation, pipeline inspection, quality control, corrosion
prevention, design and research, and IT technologies in piping
system design and operation.
