12dB theoretical loss), 1.3:1 VSWR,

and 0.4dB amplitude unbalance.

It is capable of handling up to

0.2W RF input power and comes

housed in a miniature, shielded

package measuring 0.5x0.5x0.19”

with wraparound terminations for

excellent solderability.

Mini-Circuits’ MMIC

Amplifier Die Provides High

IP3 and High Gain from DC to

7GHz

Mini-Circuits’ GVA-84-D+ is a

Wideband MMIC amplifier die

fabricated using InGaP HBT

technology supporting a wide range

of applications from DC to 7GHz.

This model provides high IP3 of

+37dBm, 24dB gain, +20.5dBm

P1dB, 26.5dB reverse isolation,

and excellent input/output return

loss without the need for external

matching components. The amplifier

operates on a single +5V supply and

measures only 560x680x100µm,

allowing integration directly into

customer modules where small

size and light weight are critical

requirements.

GVA-84-D+ MMIC amplifier dice may

be ordered from stock in gel-paks

(-DG+ model number suffix) of 10, 50

or 100 KGD. Partial wafers (<5000

KGD, -DP+ model number suffix)

and full wafers (-DF+ model number

suffix) are also available by request

from authorized Mini-Circuits sales

representatives.

Mini-Circuits’ Ultra-

Wideband Precision Fixed

Attenuator Die

Mini-Circuits’ YAT-3-D+ is a fixed

value, absorptive MMIC attenuator

die providing 3dB attenuation with

±0.6dB attenuation flatness from DC

to 26.5GHz. A simple modification to

the ground plane enables excellent

performance all the way up to 40GHz,

supporting requirements applications

in the millimeter wave region such

as 5G systems (see application

note AN-70-019 on our website).

This model provides RF power

handling up to 2W, and unpackaged

die form enables users to integrate

the attenuator directly into hybrids

where small size and light weight are

critical. The die contains through-

wafer Cu metallization vias to realize

low thermal resistance and very

wideband operation. YAT attenuator

dice are available from stock with

nominal attenuation values from 0 to

10dB (in 1dB steps), and 12, 15, 20,

and 30dB.

Mini-Circuits’

Reflectionless Low Pass Filter,

DC to 7000MHz

Mini-Circuits’

XLF-73+

is

a

reflectionless low pass filter with a

passband from DC to 7000MHz and

stopband from 11700 to 21300MHz.

The filter provides 1.1dB passband

insertion loss, 1.3:1 passband

VSWR, 15dB stop band rejection,

and 1.5:1 stopband VSWR. It can

handle RF input power up to 2W

in the passband and 0.5W in the

stopband. Fabricated using IPD

process technology on GaAs, the

filter comes housed in a tiny 3x3mm

QFN package.

Mini-Circuits’

X-series

of

reflectionless filters employs a

novel filter topology which absorbs

and terminates stopband signals

internally rather than reflecting

them back to the source. This

new capability enables unique

applications for filter circuits

beyond those suited to traditional

New-Tech Magazine l 88
