7.1 A reliable solution

KIT4P includes a rigid flywheel. The inertia in com-

bination with the cover assembly is calculated to

have a good compensation on piston alternative

forces to reduce engine acyclisms. The transmis-

sion protection provides full engine and gearbox

safety.

The graphic below shows the wear ratio behavior

of the two most popular facings used within the

KIT4P range depending on the temperature and

the thermal load of the clutch.

7.2 Increased clutch life

The clutch facing within a KIT4P works at lower

temperatures compared to a D.M.F. version

(between 100ºC and 270ºC). KIT4P overall lifetime

is improved as the friction wear decreases at

lower temperatures.
