OBITUARY

Mr. James Rogers, Solicitor, died on the 10th May,

1967 at Our Lady's Hospice, Harolds Cross, Dublin.

Mr. Rogers served his apprenticeship with the late

Mr. Lewis Goodbody, Tullamore, Co. Offaly, was ad–

mitted in Hilary Sittings 1907 and practised under the

style of Messrs Rogers & Co., Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

Mr. Michael J. Alien, Solicitor, died on

the 16th

May, 1967, at St. Francis Street, Galway.

Mr. Alien served his apprenticeship with

the

late

Mr. John C. Conroy, 4 St. Francis Street, Galway, was

admitted

in Michaelmas Sittings, 1925 and practised

as senior partner in

the firm of Messrs. MacDermot

& Alien, 3 St. Francis Street, Galway.

Mr. Thomas P. Robinson, Solicitor, died on the 26th

May, 1967, at a private nursing home.

Mr. Robinson served his apprenticeship with the late

Mr. William J. Shannon, 19 Upper Ormond Quay,

Dublin, 7, was admitted in Hilary Sittings 1914 and

practised as senior partner in the firm of Messrs. T. P.

Robinson & Co., 94 Merrion Square, Dublin.

Mr. John J. Horgan, Solicitor, died on

the 21st

July, 1967, at the Bon Secours Home, Cork.

Mr. Horgan served his apprenticeship with the late

Mr. Michael J. Horgan, South Mall, Cork, was admitted

in Trinity Sittings 1902 and practised as partner in the

firm of Messrs M. J. Horgan & Sons, 50, South Mall,

Cork.

Mr. John F. Kealy, Solicitor, died on the 17th July,

1967, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, Co.

Louth.

Mr. Kealy served his apprenticeship with

the

late

Mr. John L. Kealy, Drogheda, Co. Louth and Mr.

Robert McD. Taylor, Drogheda, Co. Louth, was ad–

mitted in Hilary Sittings 1958 and practised under the

sytle of Messrs. J. L. Kealy & Co., 45 Laurence Street,

Drogheda, Co. Louth.

District Justice Cahill died on the 20th July, 1967,

at his

residence "Aisling," Rockbarton, Salthill, Co.

Galway.

Justice Cahill served his apprenticeship with the late

Mr. Maurice Healy, 48 Grand Parade, Cork, was ad–

mitted in Trinity Sittings 1917, and practised at Charle-

ville, Co. Cork up to his appointment as District Justice

in 1923.
