No. 8.-SPIRIT BITTERS.
4 ounces cinchona bark.
2 ounces canella bark.
4 ounces bruised columbo.
! pound orange-peel.
l ounce red sanders.
I drachm cloves.
2! gallons pure spirits.
Digest fourteen days, agitating frequently;
decant the clear liquor, and add I pound loaf-
sugar.
