The travel policy also provides guidelines for ICMA‑RC associates traveling together. For purposes of business

continuity, any concentration of associates from the same department should be avoided when traveling.

Furthermore, no more than three members at the executive level and/or leadership team may travel together

on the same flight to any destination.

If you travel on business, you should be familiar with all aspects of the

,

which is available at

(For information regarding pay and overtime for nonexempt associates on travel, see “Pay and Overtime while on

Business Travel” on

of this Handbook.)

SOLICITATIONS AND DISTRIBUTION OF LITERATURE OR

NON-ICMA‑RC MARKETING MATERIALS

In the interest of maintaining a proper business environment, associates must receive advance permission from

Human Resources before any non-ICMA‑RC literature or printed materials can be distributed or merchandise

sold for personal profit at ICMA‑RC locations during work time. Corporate computers, email or voice mail

should not be used for any type of solicitation resulting in personal gain or profit.

Associates may distribute printed materials or sell merchandise related to school, civic, or charitable

fundraisers without prior approval from Human Resources. However,

these activities may occur only during

nonworking time and in nonworking areas

to avoid disruptions to daily business activities.

Associates are prohibited at all times from selling merchandise on ICMA‑RC premises for their own business

or personal gain without prior approval from Human Resources. If approval is given, merchandise may not

be sold or distributed during business hours or while either the seller or purchaser is on work time. Use of

corporate resources, including corporate office supplies and copiers for personal use, is also prohibited.

Non-associates (consultants, temporary staff, and ICMA‑RC visitors) are also prohibited from distributing material

or soliciting associates on ICMA‑RC premises without prior approval from Human Resources.
