One

gallon

of

water.

Grate

the

rind

and

squeeze

the

juice

of

six

lemons

and

the

juice

of

six

oranges.

One

quart

of

Jamaica

rum,

one

pint

each

of

brandy,

Madeira

and

sherry,

one

quart

of

champagne.

Sweeten

to

taste.

Freeze.

This

quantity

will

serve

fifty

persons.

Though

not

strictly

a

beverage,

so

few

know

how

to

make

a

good

Roman

punch

we

thought

this

would

be

acceptable.
