Manifold instrumentation valves
Brennan Industries, an international
supplier of hydraulic fittings and
adapters, has expanded its line of
instrumentation valves by introducing
manifold valves.
The new Brennan manifold valves will
be offered in three valve configurations:
two-valve manifolds, used in pressure
instruments; three-valve manifolds,
used in differential pressure instruments;
and five-valve manifolds, normally used
with differential pressure instruments
where drain valves are required on the
instrument side.
Brennan manifolds are available in four
different designs: separately mounted
manifolds, direct mounting ‘T’ typemani-
folds, direct mounting ‘H’ typemanifolds,
and co-planar manifolds.
Each of the valves is designed with a
pressure sealing system that offers a
number of advantages.
The stem threads are rolled to reduce
friction and coated with silver Teflon
mixture for smooth operation. The stem
plug has a swivelling design, and is
hardened to provide for wear and long
life. The pipe sealing system prevents
blowouts of the stem and reduces gland
leakage.
The manifold valves are available in
a variety of materials, depending on
the application, including carbon steel,
stainless steel, Hastelloy ‘C’, Monel,
Inconel and titanium.
Brennan Industries provides critical flow
components, offering more than 30,000
standard and special hydraulic fittings
and adapters in sizes ranging from

Most products are available in carbon
steel, stainless steel and brass, and
meet or exceed JIC, SAE and other
specifications.
The company’s mobile app provides
easy access to the product catalogue,
with a product cross-reference tool and
a pressure ratings search.
The Brennan website features an online
parts catalogue, configurator and a free
CAD download solution.
The company’s products are stocked at
eight strategically located, full-service
distribution centres.

Butterfly valves
Val-Matic’s American-BFV
®
butterfly
valves are engineered to provide long
life and trouble-free performance.
Available in a wide range of pressure
classes, the American-BFV is used
in municipal, industrial and power
applications.
Continuous uninterrupted seating and
the Tri-Lok™ seat retention system
ensure seat integrity and allow for field
adjustment/replacement without the
need for special tools or epoxies. A
ductile iron disc available in all sizes
adds strength, allowing the disc to
have a smaller cross section, providing
improved head loss characteristics.
Val-Matic American-BFV butterfly valves
are available in 150B and 250B AWWA
classes, with flanged end connections
in sizes 3" to 144", and mechanical joint
end connections in 4" to 48". Wafer-
style butterfly valves are designed with
ANSI 125 flanges or ISO PN10 and
PN16 flanges in sizes 4" to 24".
The valves fully comply with AWWA
C504 and C516, certified NSF/ANSI 61
for drinking water and NSF/ANSI 372
Certified Lead-Free.
