Dr John Heilmann

is an assistant professor at the University of

Wisconsin-Milwaukee. His research primarily focuses on authentic

assessment of all children with language-learning difficulties.

Dr Marleen Westerveld

is a senior lecturer in speech pathology

at Griffith University, Gold Coast, Australia. Her research interests

relate to assessment and remediation of children’s oral language

skills that are needed to successfully participate in daily activities.
