Put into a small tumbler a tablespoonful each
of spiced ale, lemon champagne, ginger brandy,
and cherry brandy, with a dash of port wine;
mix well, and fill up the tumbler with boiling
water; dust a little nutmeg on the top.

Beat up an egg in a small tumbler, and add a
tablespoonful of each of the following syrups:
clove, curagoa punch, and lemon champagne;
whisk all well together, and fill up the tumbler
with boiling water; add a dust of nutmeg.
