New modular pipework catalogue
Jacob UK has launched a new product
catalogue on modular pipework systems
for designers, technical specifiers and
installers. With 154 pages of product
and application details, the catalogue
is packed with information on modular
pipework systems, and is also available
in pdf format.
The company manufactures thin-
walled, fully welded modular pipework
systems, components and valves, and
its catalogue has become an important
technical reference book for engineers,
designers and installers.
New items in the 2011 catalogue include:
modular pipework, certified shock
explosion proof to 10 bar overpressure;
explosion proof, flashback resistant
shut-off valves to DEKRA standards;
and continuously powder coated pipe
on both internal and external surfaces.
With 19 standard diameters from 60
to 800mm in galvanised or stainless
steel and now in the latest powder
coated finishes, Jacob can advise
on all types of pipework installation.
Jacob Quick Connect is a modern
solution for custom designed and
built modular pipework with easily
connected bends, segments and pipe
sections, manufactured in 1, 2 or 3mm
thicknesses, all with pressure tight
connections. Each component has a
machine-lipped end that, when fitted
with a specially designed U-shaped
gasket and Quick-Connect pull-ring,
creates a 3-bar overpressure certified
connection. Air movement within a
Jacob pipeline is enhanced with the
smooth-pressed bends, which assist
airflow with the minimum of resistance.
