Extended domestic cast iron rainwater range
Saint-Gobain PAM UK is a supplier
of ductile iron pipes, fittings, valves,
access covers and gratings as well as
being a producer of cast iron above
and below ground drainage systems. Its
markets include water and sewerage,
telecommunications, highways, civil
engineering, construction and housing.
The company has enhanced its
Classical cast iron domestic rainwater
and guttering systems with a new range
of hopper heads. Boasting a flat back
design, the new hopper heads are in
a larger size of 305 x 186 x 200mm,
and are available to fit both 65mm and
75mm circular downpipes.
They can be purchased in both standard
Classical black water-based primer and
in Classical Plus finish thermoplastic
powder coating PPA571, which is
recognised for performance in external
applications.

ERW steel pipe manufacturing in China
Founded in 1995, Tianjin Zhongshun
Petroleum Steel Pipe Company Ltd is
a large-scale manufacturer specialising
in the production of ERW steel pipes
and DSAW steel pipes.
With investments totalling US$37mn,
the company operates from a base of
over 300,000m

tons of welded steel pipes annually. The

Advanced equipment used in Tianjin
Zhongshun’s pipe production includes
three longitudinally HF welded
pipe mills, six spirally double-side
submerged arc welded pipe mills and
two anti-corrosion pipe mills.
The company can produce longitudinally
welded steel pipes ranging in diameter
from 21.3 to 457.2mm with wall
thickness ranging from 1.8 to 14.27mm,
and spirally double-sided submerged
arc welded pipe with diameters ranging
from 219 to 3,040mm and wall thickness
ranging from 5 to 30mm.
It can also perform many types of
coating, such as FBE, 2PE, 3PE, 2PP,
3PP, epoxy coal asphalt, internal epoxy
coating and cement mortar lining.
The company’s technicians can produce
a variety of sizes of longitudinally and
spirally welded steel pipes according
to standards such as API, ASTM,
EN, JIS and BS, in steel grades that
include GrA, GrB, X42-X100, H40, J55,
S195T, S355J2H, ST33, ST42, STK400,
STK500, Q215, Q235 and Q345.
