RHPS regulators now available
RHPS series high flow pressure-
reducing and back-pressure regulators
are now available worldwide through
authorised Swagelok sales and service
centres. Swagelok acquired RHPS BV,
now operating as Swagelok BV, in April
2010 as part of its strategy to broaden
product and services for fluid system
customers around the world.
RHPS products are based on more
than 20 years of engineering expertise
for applications in the chemical/
petrochemical, oil and gas, power,
biopharmaceutical, semiconductor
and alternative fuels industries. The
regulators are constructed of 316L
stainless steel for line sizes up to 4",
and provide a variety of options.
Key products for pressure control now
available through Swagelok include:
pressure-reducing regulators, including
both spring-loaded and dome-loaded
models, designed for general industrial
applications; spring-loaded and dome-
loaded back-pressure regulators also
designed for general industrial purposes;
and speciality regulators, including
products designed specifically for tank
blanketing, pharmaceutical applications
and bulk semiconductor gas delivery.

New areas of application for round belts
For two years, tubing manufacturer
polyvanced has included thermoplastic
polyurethane round belts in its extensive
product range. “Our key markets are
the foodstuff and luxury goods industry,
the packaging sector, the textile, wood
and ceramics industry as well as the
chemical industry,” said sales manager
Matthias Strehl.
polyvanced round belts are also used
in conveyor belts in canteens or self-
service restaurants and in lashing
straps for lorry tarpaulins. New areas of
application are now also on their way.
“We also use round belts in mining and
household appliances,” said Mr Strehl.
They distinguish themselves through
maximum durability and their excellent
resistance to oil, grease and a multitude
of chemicals. polyvanced round belts
are hydrolysis and microbe resistant
and available with foodstuff industry
certification.
They are used in transport and drive
elements, and their high level of flexibility
enables various turning directions as
well as a lower turning radius.
Rapid installation directly on-site with
mobile welding equipment reduces
machine downtime. Simply cutting
lengths to the supply roll needs ensures
cost-effective warehousing. polyvanced
round belts are available in different
colours and degrees of hardness (from
80 Shore A to 95 Shore A), and the
standard exterior diameter ranges from
3 to 20mm. Delivery options include roll
materials, cutting portions or continuous.
