COLD WHISKEY PUNCH.
(Use a large bar glass.)
Take One teaspoonful of powdered
white sugar, dissolved in a little
water.
Juice of half a lemon or one lime.
One and a half wine-glassesful of
Red Top Rye.
Fill glass with shaved ice.
Add two dashes of Rum.
Shake well and strain into cool stem
punch glass. Add two thin slices of
lemon and any other seasonable fruit.
Serve with a straw.
Several punches can be made up at
one time by using larger proportions of
the ingredients and mixing in a larger
vessel.
