Description
The construction of a new (second) gas storage is envisaged on the territory of Bulgaria. It could be constructed in suitable geological structure
–depleted gas fields (onshore or offshore), salt caverns or aquifer. It must however be kept in mind that the construction of a new underground gas
storage from the start of the geological and research activities to its commissioning could take not less than 7-8 years.
