SAMPLE PREPARATION
•
For powders:
–
Weigh 10.0
0.5 g of powder into a tared vessel and record mass.
–
Add water to a total weight of 70
5 g (powder + water) and record
mass.
–
Stir until homogenous.
•
For ready-to-feed liquids and reconstituted powders:
–
Weigh 5.00
0.20 g liquid into a tared 15 mL centrifuge tube and
record mass.
–
Add 40
L of internal standard working solution and vortex.
–
Add 50 μL of glacial acetic acid and 5.0 mL methanol, vortex.
–
Transfer aliquot to microfuge tube and centrifuge at 13,000 rpm for

Filter an aliquot of the supernatant into an autosampler vial using a
