7.2.3 SUPPLY SOURCE DIVERSIFICATION
The access to different supply sources is a prerequisite for competition. ENTSOG
uses the Supply Source Price Diversification Index (SSPDi) in order to evaluate the
number of supply sources a country has access to. This indicator measures the
ability of a country to benefit from the decrease of the price of one supply source.
The higher the value of the indicator, the higher the benefits for the country is.
