The South region has traditionally benefited from a highly diversified supply portfolio,

in part due to the importance of LNG, which presents the advantage of connecting

European markets to the wider world. High LNG prices spread in recent years have

however led shippers to do some arbitrage in their supply portfolio.

With LNG prices falling worldwide, the share of LNG imports should once again

increase in the region.
