As a fully integrated copper alloy
producer, Alsafil, a Nexans company,
has responded to the growing demand
for wires for use in low temperature
products, such as heating cables and
fusion welding, by extending its range
to include CuNi2, CuNi6, CuNi10,
CuNi23 and CuNi44 in addition to the
existing CuSn, CuZn and CuNiZn
alloys.
Alsafil can meet requirements for
specific electrical resistance as
standard and a range of diameters
from 0.25 to 2.5mm are available.
The company supplies products ready
to use on DIN160 to DIN355 spools in
hard to annealed states, or as pre-draw
wire on spools, coils or octabins.
Alsafil is a fully integrated copper alloy
producer with its own casting lines and
wire processing equipment for the
production of wire from 0.15 to 10mm
diameter. Specialised in niche products
made to order for determined specifi-
cations, it manufactures products
for EDM, cold heading, weaving,
re-drawers and spring markets.
