No internationally operating wire-
drawing mill is as flexible and
competitive as it could be without
optimised use of its in-house drawing
die stock, which means efficient
drawing die maintenance. A drawing
die repair shop with easily operated
die-working equipment requiring mini-
mum staffing and highly automated
work processes is essential.
Bremer’s long experience and highly
qualified knowledge, combined with an
appreciation of customer needs, has
led to its newest development in the
drawing die working machinery, the
KPM4AA machine. This machine
consists of three single stations, the
first station for grinding/polishing the
cone to the meeting point (optional
extendable to two of these stations)
and the third station for polishing of
the bearing.
Due to automatic regrind of the
polishing needle, automatic suspension
supply and big die storage, the
machine can operate automatically,
non-stop, without an operator.
Processing programs are made by
simple inputs via a Siemens touch
screen panel.
Progressive software enables functions
that facilitate the working process, eg
automatic calculation of the meeting
point for determination of the bearing
length for greater economy.
