BWE Shanghai Ltd is a Sino-British

joint venture company, formed in 1995

by BWE UK and SECRI. In 2002, the

company opened its new modern

factory in Pu Dong. Initially, BWE

Shanghai manufactured various types

of cold welders and dies for the cable

and wire industry. The company is now

manufacturing Conform™ continuous

extrusion lines for non-ferrous metals

both for the domestic market and

overseas.

Since the beginning of 2008, BWE

has received orders for a total of 15

Conform™ S315 machines for various

applications including: copper and

aluminium rectangular wire; solid

aluminium conductors (SAC); round

refrigeration tube; and heat exchanger

and air conditioner (multivoid or

multiport) tubes.

All machines are manufactured to

European standards but at domestic

prices.

Any machine sold outside China is

inspected by a UK specialist prior

to shipping to the UK. BWE UK will

carry out final inspection, testing

and CE certification before shipping

to the customer. To maintain high

performance standards, some equip-

ment such as heat exchangers and

hydraulic pumps will be of European

origin. The scope of supply for each

line is very flexible.

The end user can select the Conform

basic machine package or a complete

line by selecting from an options menu.

Alternatively, the end user can supply

some or all of the ancillary equipment.

BWE’s range includes cold welders

and dies covering all non-ferrous wire

sizes;
