MR. THOMAS J. MARTIN, Solicitor, died on

the 26th February, 1934, at his residence,

Clonard, Coleraine, Co. Londonderry.

Mr. Martin served his apprenticeship with

Mr. Robert O'Neill, Coleraine ; was admitted

in Hilary Sittings, 1907, and practised as a

member of the firm of Macaulay, O'Neill and

Martin at Coleraine.

UNDER-SHERIFFS' FEES ORDER, 1934.

By this Order, which is dated the 30th

January, 1934, it is provided as follows :

" 4. Whenever an under-sheriff- is by law

" required, before executing an execution

" order, to send or give any letter or notice

" in relation to such execution order, a fee of

" one shilling shall be leviable by and pay-

" able to the under-sheriff in addition to the

" fees mentioned in the appropriate Schedule

" to the Under-Sheriffs' Fees Order, 1926, as

" amended by the Under-Sheriffs' Order

" 1931."

CALENDAR, 1934.

The Society's Calendar for 1934 can be

obtained in the Secretary's Office, price, five

shillings ;

by post, five shillings and four-

pence.

APRIL EXAMINATIONS, 1934.

A Final Examination will be held on

Monday and Tuesday, the 9th and 10th days

of April. Notice of intention to attend should

be lodged in the Secretary's Office before

20th March.

A " First Examination " in Irish will be

held on Wednesday, llth April. Notice of

intention to attend should be lodged in the

Secretary's Office before 21st March.

A Preliminary Examination will be held on

Monday and Tuesday, the 16th and 17th days

of April. Notice of intention to attend should

be lodged in the Secretary's Office before

27th March.
