was admitted in Hilary Sittings, 1895.

24th June, 1954.
Mr. Dixon served his apprenticeship with the
late Mr. William Shean, Solicitor, 16 High Street,
Belfast, was admitted in Hilary Sittings, 1899 and
practised at 16 High Street, Belfast, as senior partner
in the firm o f Messrs. Shean & Dixon.

under the style o f Messrs. A . A . Wells & Co.

Mr. Ryan served his apprenticeship with Mr.
Edward J. Ryan, Solicitor, Thurles, was admitted

Newtown Hill, Leixlip on the 2nd November, 1954.
Mr. Greene served his apprenticeship with the
late Mr. Thomas J. Greene, Solicitor, 1 1 Wellington
Quay, Dublin, was admitted in Hilary Sittings, 1933
and practised at 1 1 Wellington Quay, Dublin as
senior partner in the firm o f Messrs. Roger Greene
& Son. He was a member o f the Council o f this
Society from 1943-1952, Vice-President for the year
1945-46 and President o f the Society for the year
1950-51.

the 7th November, 1954.
Mr. O’Connor served his apprenticeship with
Mr. Thomas Early, Solicitor, 6 Cavendish Row,
Dublin, was admitted in Trinity Sittings, 1920 and
practised at Naas as senior partner in the firm of
Messrs. O’Connor & Coonan.
THE SOLICITORS’ BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION
The Association, which operates throughout the whole of Ireland, cares for Solicitors, their wives,
widows and families, who have fallen on hard times.
Last year over £2,000 was distributed in relief. Additional subscriptions, donations and bequests
are urgently needed to continue and extend the Association’s work.
The active co-operation of the profession in the Association’s good work is asked for, and all who are
not members are urged to join without delay.
Membership subscription, £ 1 is. od. (or 10s. 6d. if admitted less than 3 years) a year. £ 10 10s. od.
