Wire & Cable ASIA – May/June 2007
Nuova Tecno Tau’s new delta line
enamelling plant will help enamelled
wire producers cut production costs.
Around a third of the production cost is
used in electrical energy consumption.
The delta line combats this by ensuring
the energy developed inside every
enamelling oven stays inside the oven,
while a new steam generator system
uses the hot air from each enamelling
oven to produce the necessary steam
for the annealing oven.
This allows the delta line plant to
claim the lowest electrical energy
consumption. Technicians have ensured
that the machines are easy to use
and maintain, adding to cost savings.
The annealing ovens are assembled
externally from the enamelling oven
frame, providing generous space to
access the electrical heaters. The
enamel applicator can easily be
removed for a thorough cleaning. The
transmission belts and motors are also
assembled in such a way that makes
them easily accessible to the operator.
